# AgZero2030
Our volunteer board and founding committee assists the broader AgZero2030 movement.
Simon, his wife Cindy Stevens and their three children manage a broadacre crop and livestock operation of over 3700 hectares at Corrigin. He conducts some agronomy consultancy off-farm, is the Executive Officer of the Noongar Land Enterprise Group, and is part of the Corrigin Farm Improvement Group. From 2010 to 2014 Simon was involved in the Climate Champion Program (GRDC funded): a national program that brought over 30 growers together to share information and communicate the latest research on climate change impacts and on-farm adaptation and mitigation strategies during that period.
Sue and her family have been adapting their farm business to climate change for decades. She has expertise in agri/food business development; and community and regional development. She brings together key people, groups, businesses, communities, governments; seeking to create value for all.
Dale farms cattle in partnership with his wife Marian at Badgingarra, 200km north of Perth. Dale held the Environment and Climate Change portfolio for WA Farmers before becoming President in 2012. Dale is on the National Farmers Federation Environment Committee and is a director of Farmers for Climate Action.
Cindy is a partner in a grains and livestock farming operation in Corrigin, 230km east of Perth. With a background in agricultural science and secondary education, she is keen to progress climate solutions on a farm business, agricultural industry and national scale.
Our founding committee includes the board and the following people who continue to support the AgZero2030 movement and its goals created by agribusiness leaders at the climate solutions forum we held in September 2019.
Since 2004, ex-city girl Christie has helped her husband run their mixed cropping and merino wool farm in Goomalling in Ballardong Noongar country, within the southwest Western Australian global biodiversity hotspot. She cares deeply about being a generous ancestor and joining with others to help create the most peaceful and beautiful world and civilisation possible for future generations.
Kent grew up in the Midwest region and was a farmer and pastoralist for over 35 years. He is a co-founder of Outback Carbon, bringing landowners and industry together for the development of carbon offset solutions. He is a RegenWA committee member and Climate Reality Leader.
Alan is the Western Australian Regional Coordinator for GrainGrowers Ltd, the national member-based grain farmer organisation. Alan has a strong knowledge of the grain supply chain and crop agronomy across the WA grain belt.
Larissa is an ESG professional with over 25 years of experience designing and leading capacity building and change management initiatives at the interface of private, industry, tertiary research and public sector organisations in Australia. A key strength is her ability to create value through complexity. Larissa has a track record of establishing and leading transformational programs based on leading science which deliver thought leadership, commercial insight and measurable impact through food and agribusiness supply chains and land systems.
Moora farmer Phil runs Edale merino stud. He has been advocating for climate action for decades in industry roles and as a former Member of the WA Legislative Council. He was a founding executive director of Macquarie Bank.
Raised on a mixed farm in east Mullewa, Rob Grima is a farm management consultant with a background in farm management, agronomy, research, and budgeting.
A qualified engineer who transitioned into agriculture after four years in mining, Dylan manages his family farm at Latham, cropping over 6000ha. He has a keen interest in farm production risk management, and received a Nuffield Scholarship supported by the GRDC to study financial risk management systems in variable climates.
Tony York is a third-generation farmer from Tammin where he farms more than 12,000ha of wheat, barley, canola, various legumes and a merino-based sheep flock with his brother Simon. He is a director of the National Farmers Federation and former President of WA Farmers.
Ross has built his southwest WA dairy farm business over 30 years, now operating five dairy farms producing twenty million litres of milk annually. Ross is passionate about energy, water, efficiency and food security - feeding the world with minimal impact on the environment.
Wayne runs North Stirling Downs Agriculture in the Great Southern Region. Focused on sustainable high-quality food and fibre production, Wayne is deeply committed to the future of Australian agriculture.
Michael Roberson is deputy director in CSIRO Agriculture and Food. He has had a 30 year career in agricultural systems research and is based in Perth.
